Overview

Bonnie & Clyde's Pizza Parlor, nestled along Dixie Highway in Louisville, KY, is a humble yet remarkable spot for pizza lovers seeking authenticity and flavor. This local gem embodies the spirit of traditional pizza making with a menu that champions thin, crispy crusts and generous toppings. Whether you opt for the Bonnie and Clyde’s Special, a hearty supreme-style pie with extra cheese, or other favorites like The Italian Pie or the Meat Lovers Pizza, each bite delivers a satisfying crunch and balanced flavors that keep patrons coming back.

The experience is as much about watching the craftsmanship as it is about the taste. Ordering at the counter, you get a front-row seat to dough being expertly rolled and shaped before being baked in laboriously tended ovens. The casual, no-frills environment evokes a welcoming, laid-back vibe — like sharing a meal with friends and family in your own kitchen. It’s a perfect fit for those who appreciate good food served with a sense of community and simplicity.

The parlor also caters to a crowd that enjoys pairing their pizza with cold beverages. Their selection of beers stands out, with customers particularly praising the beer goblet as a refreshing complement to the meal. The place thrives on a cash-only policy, underscoring its old-school charm and encouraging a straightforward, unpretentious pace.

Seating inside is cozy and functional, although some have noted minor touches like cobwebs near the ceiling, which do little to detract from the overall experience. The noise level can fluctuate due to the loudspeakers, so choosing a middle seat can provide a quieter dining experience. Restroom facilities may not be the highlight, but the focus here is clearly the food and the inviting atmosphere.

Bonnie & Clyde’s attracts a diverse clientele—from longtime locals to visitors pausing before tours at nearby landmarks like Waverly Hills. The parlor's appeal lies in its ability to deliver consistent, flavorful pizzas with a crispy crust that even the most discerning palates appreciate. It's a destination for those who value quality, tradition, and a down-to-earth setting where comfort food still reigns supreme.

This place is worth a stop, interesting setup off Dixie hwy in Louisville. Order at the counter whike you watch them make dough and labor the ovens and get you card, once they call your 3 of diamonds you scuttle up there and pick up at the counter. Wide selection of beer for a small joint, gobblet is best value and the pitcher is a close 2nd. We went for the Bonnie and Clyde special, kind of a supreme and added extra cheese. Hmm, wonder how this is gonna go... My brother in law and my dad, the 96 year old that complains about everything, both said it was the best pizza they ever had. That aint bad given he's had 96 years to try pizza. I'll say it was different, in a good way. The crisiest crust I've had, crunch crunch crunch, good flavor all around. They've been around allot of years, highly recommend!

CASH ONLY! We had a good experience at this restaurant. The pizza was good. Thin and crispy crust. Pretty reasonable pricing as well. It is a cash only spot. For four adults we split the family size and it was more than enough. I recommend sitting in the middle so you don’t hear the loud speakers as much. There were cobwebs around the windows and near the ceiling.

They have the best pizza. Thin, crunchy crust, distinct flavor, good sauce to topping ratio. Very busy little place, and for good reason! The cashier was friendly and the pizza was out in 15 minutes, even though the place almost had a line out of the door!

Always, Good, meet Friends out there for Lunch, every few months,Used to live out there in another Life? Pizza Is good, thin crust, with about 6 or 8 toppings,a B.&C. Special. The service is fast, and today it was brought to our Table,3 pizzas and 1 to go? We stayed about a hour and a half, having an awesome lunch and catching up with each other? We will have other times to repeat the experience, was told while we were there, that next February will be their 55th year in business! You have to do a lot of things well,to be able to say that?
